Let The Keiki Play

I read this article today, called  "The Joyful, Illiterate Kindergarteners of Finland" and it really resonated with me. You can read the article here.

Written by an American who has lived and taught in Finland, who heard of changes to the American preschool/kindergarten system and decided to visit a Finnish kindie to see how it worked. Quite honestly, the article underlines a lot of the reasons I want to homeschool or non-traditionally-school my keiki.
